Sherrie and her husband Scott live in the Pine Mountain area and are active members of the Harris County community. Sherrie began volunteering at FOCUS several years ago and became the Thrift Shop Manager about 4 years ago. She knows most of our regular customers by name and is quick to greet everyone when they walk through the door. Sherrie works hard to keep the Thrift Shop well-stocked, neat and running smoothly. She keeps our volunteers motivated and keeps them laughing and our customers keep coming back to see her. She makes everyone feel welcome at the Thrift Shop.

Sarah Culpepper, Emergency Services Manager
My first experience with FOCUS was sorting and bagging groceries for the Thanksgiving Food Drive. Our family participated in that project for years and were so blessed to help so many families. About 6 years ago, I showed up at FOCUS to help sort clothing. That was also a good experience and it was a joy to work with so many nice volunteers. I then volunteered in the office with clients and found that was my niche. I continue to work at FOCUS as Office Manager. To be a part of such a unique ministry in Harris County is very rewarding and I’m happy to be a part of FOCUS.
